This policy explains what information Schack Group LLC ("Schack Group", "we", "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers schackgroup.net and the businesses we operate: Camera Schack, Ralph A Brown Photography, Trade Schack and Tech Schack, including your Schack ID account.
Information we collect
- Information you give us — your name, email address, phone number, postal and shipping addresses, and anything you write to us through a contact form, booking, order or service request.
- Account information — your Schack ID sign-in details and preferences. Passwords are stored only in hashed form.
- Orders and services — what you order or book, photos and files you upload for printing or other work, repair and service details, and order history.
- Payment information — payments are handled by our payment processors. We do not store full card numbers.
- Technical information — IP address, browser type and basic logs, used to keep the sites secure and working.
How we use it
- To provide what you asked for: answering enquiries, completing orders, booking appointments, delivering prints and products, and providing technical services.
- To send service messages by email or, if you have opted in, by text message: order and appointment updates, notifications and replies to your support requests.
- To operate your Schack ID account and keep it secure.
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
Text messaging (SMS)
If you opt in to text messages, we use your mobile number only to send the service updates, appointment notifications and customer support responses you agreed to. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from every category of sharing described in this policy; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

When we share information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business, and only as much as they need to do that work: for example payment processors, shipping carriers, our email provider and our SMS delivery provider. They may use it only to provide their service to us. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our customers or the public.
How long we keep it
We keep information while your account is open or while we need it to provide our services, and afterwards for as long as legal, tax or accounting rules require. Photos uploaded for printing are kept so you can reorder, and you can ask us to delete them.
Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, optional two-step verification, and access controls to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe.
Your choices and rights
- View and update your details at any time in your Schack ID account.
- Ask us for a copy of your information, or ask us to correct or delete it.
- Unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in the message.
- Stop text messages by replying STOP.

Children
Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here and change the effective date above.
